Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak was established in 1985 as the representative of the Majlis Islam Sarawak, responsible for the management of Zakat, Sadaqatul Jariah, and Wakaf funds. Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak plays a crucial role in providing infrastructure for the collection, distribution, and administration of these funds, as well as raising awareness among the Islamic community about the obligation of giving Zakat. Meanwhile, the Unit For Other Religions Charitable Trust in Sarawak is a gazetted Sarawak charitable trust organisation that provides financial assistance to non-Muslim houses of worship and mission schools in the region. It operates and was set up in 2018 under the Charitable Trust Ordinance 1994 and focuses on socio-economic programs to support deserving individuals.
DBOS is proud to contribute to a brighter, more equitable future for all Sarawakians while at the same time reflecting DBOS' commitment to corporate social responsibility as part of DBOS’ sustainable ESG initiatives.
