DBOS Corporate Social Responsibility with RM500,000 Charitable Contribution

Development Bank Of Sarawak (“DBOS”) is committed to community welfare with a charitable donation totalling RM500,000. This contribution, aimed at fostering socio-religious harmony, preservation of inclusivity and supporting underprivileged communities, was formally presented on 27th June 2024 at Wisma Bapa Malaysia.
The establishment of Development Bank of Sarawak Berhad (“DBOS”) in May 2017, was the brainchild of the Premier of Sarawak, The Right Honourable Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi (Dr.) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg.
During its 5th Anniversary Dinner on 29 October 2022, DBOS announced its participation in the “Bring Back the Rainforest” habitat rehabilitation programme at Piasau Nature Reserve by Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC). DBOS’ participation is through the adoption for enriching planting on Plot 18 with a contribution of RM50,000.

Development Bank of Sarawak Officially Launched Today

THE state-owned Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) was officially launched today, and when it becomes operational in January, it will have a paid-up capital of RM500 million.
The bank, incorporated on May 11, is a non-prescribed development financial institution incorporated under the Companies Act 2016.
